Family Blessings
Not in use so much today as in times past, the
Family Blessing is a blessing that holds long
traditions in many belief systems. Many
families ask for a Family Blessing when the
family has been gathered for a family reunion,
wedding, or passing. Others look for a Family
Blessing when the family begins to transform
from the nuclear parent/children with the
children growing and leaving home. There are
those that choose to have the family blessed on a
frequent basis as they believe it helps to focus
the family as a unit on how the spiritual is a
