| amid cedar trees that have stood for hundreds (some as many as four hundred) of years! A beautiful location filled with green glades, slopes covered in years of growth of soft green moss, and a bubbling creek is truly inspirational to be in. Talley Lake Located north of Whitefish off of Highway 93, Tally Lake Campground and Recreation Area. This high alpine lake (in fact the deepest lake in the state of Montana) has a lovely group pavilion area that looks out across the lake. There is a greensward park area in the more public area of the park (which is rarely full) by the lake. In fact there are many places here to choose from! All are accessible by car during the summer months. The last wedding ceremony we performed at Talley Lake was blessed with a full circle “sun dog” (a rainbow formed in thin clouds when the sun light creates prisms with the moisture in the clouds) that lasted throughout the entire ceremony! Upper Whitefish Lake This 100 acre lake is a glittering jewel in the mountains. Completely surround by mountains, meadows and steep slopes combine to bring you close to your inner spirit while you commit your lives to one another. Loon Lake (off of Pipe Creek Road, outside of Libby) This small alpine lake is a perfect setting for your special day. Again only available in the summer, it is a stunning setting to ensure you’ll never forget where your wedding occurred! Ski Slopes/Resorts Whether cross-country or down-hill is your cup of tea, we’d be thrilled to help you start your lives together at the ski slope, at the lodge, or even part way around the cross-country ski trail. Flathead Lake, Whitefish Lake, and so much more! The area abounds in both large and small lakes for those who wish to say their nuptials on or near water. McDonald Falls Another Glacier Park favorite! There are several great areas to go for stunning backgrounds that can’t be beat. Yaak Falls These beautiful falls crash with a resounding thunder during the late spring and early summer. By fall the Yaak has relaxed into a softer version of herself, but still a beautiful backdrop for a wedding ceremony! |
