| SCHEDULE A 14. Does (or will) the organization license or otherwise ordain ministers (or their equivalent) or issue church charters? If “Yes,” describe in detail the requirements and qualifications needed to be so licensed, ordained, or chartered. In order for Black Rose Spiritual Center to confer ordination (or its equivalent) on an individual, the candidate: a. must display a true calling to serve his or her fellow man and the Divine through word, thought and deed. b. display a thorough knowledge of their chosen spiritual path (i.e. Christian have a thorough knowledge of the Bible and the tenants of the Christian faith, etc.) c. Submit a written spiritual, personal and professional biography (NOT just a bullet resume) to the ordination council specifying any prior clergy or lay clergy experience. d. Submit a written statement specifying why they wish to become a minister. e. Pledge to use their ordination for the Service of Humanity and through that service, service to the Divine. f. Provide a one to two paragraph statement of how they plan to use their ordination for the service of mankind. g. Must be at least 18 years of age. h. Provide a statement indicating how ordination will help them with their current ministry. i. Be approved by the Ordination Council, and j. completes a 90 day internship with one of the ordained Clergy Mentors. The Ordination Council will consist of the First Clergy, Second Clergy, along with three other persons; one appointed by the First Clergy, one appointed by the Second Clergy, and one chosen by the two persons appointed by the First and Second Clergy. These persons will serve as the ordination council until their resignation or removal under the governing documents of Black Rose Spiritual Center. The Ordination Council shall meet in closed session within 14 days of receipt of a candidate packet at which time the Council will review the packet and vote on the candidate. Due to the responsibilities of members of the Clergy, a unanimous vote of the Counsel is required for the candidate to be ordained. Should the Council consider the application incomplete, it can be returned to the candidate with a request for clarification and resubmission. |
