| SCHEDULE A 1. Provide a brief history of the development of the organization, including the reasons for its formation. Black Rose Spiritual Center was incorporated in the State of Montana on the 7th of January 2002. Black Rose Spiritual Center has been developed to answer the growing need for guidance in non-traditional religions and religious belief systems along with the need for the message of tolerance and understanding between religious faiths and that all positive faiths have value and purpose. It is Black Rose Spiritual Center’s basic belief premise that it matters not the particular path you take in your spiritual journey as long as the path is positive in that it serves the Divine, however that presence is perceived. We at Black Rose spiritual Center are here to facilitate all paths and promote harmony between the various paths. Further, we are dedicated to providing pastoral guidance and services to those who have chosen a solo-spiritual path. The decision to create Black Rose Spiritual Center was made following the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Following that time there has been a resurgence in striving to achieve a higher meaning in one’s life. Many are revisiting their personal belief systems, and reevaluating their connection with the Divine. Since the turbulent era of the 1960s and the self-expansionism of the 1970s, there has been a continuing decrease in the numbers of individuals and families who have joined organized churches. During this time of self-actualization, many have chosen a solo path for their spiritual development rather than attend the more traditional churches, synagogues, and mosques of their parents. Black Rose is dedicated to helping all on their path to a closer connection with the Divine and connecting to the inner spirit. Our Statement of Identification states: “The Black Rose Spiritual Center is a non-denominational, multi- devotional Church, devoted to sustaining the community through worship, education and charitable acts.” Our Mission Statement is: Our mission is to provide a place of worship, a community, and a connecting point for like minded individuals who identify themselves as being on a spiritual path or journey. We shall provide for all manner of pastoral communication between members of all esoteric religions and those of the more common religions of the present day, and also seek to educate both the general public and members of the Church about various belief systems and practices as a whole. |
