Black Rose Spiritual Center, Inc :
Continuation
Part II – Activities and Operational Information

3.  Describe the organization’s fundraising program, both actual and planned, and explain
to what extent it has been put into effect.  Include details of fundraising activities such as
selective mailings, formation of fundraising committees, use of volunteers or professional
fundraisers, etc.  Attach representative copies of solicitations for financial support.

Black Rose Spiritual Center is still in its infancy.  We have not, as yet, embarked on any major fundraising
campaigns.  It is hoped that the Center, as discussed below, will be able to be self-sustaining after the first
year.  However, if need for funds arise in the future Black Rose Spiritual Center may look into such fund
raising campaigns as selective direct mailings, specific fundraising committees (fundraising, along with
general administrative matters currently come under the purview of the Lead Clergy), or professional
fundraisers, etc.  Other than the informational flyer attached hereto we have not as yet designed or created
any solicitations for financial support.

a.  Black Rose Spiritual Center Outreach Booth Sales:  Black Rose Spiritual Center’s primary source of
funding at this time is the Outreach Booth Sales.  The center participates in local area shows and events
such as the Veterans’ of Foreign Wars craft fair and sale, the Senior Center Monthly Garage Sale, Marcus
Daly Days, the Farmers’ Market, Chief Victor Days, Florence Renaissance Fair, Ravalli County Fair and
like venues.  The booth sells a variety of spiritual associated items such as candles, prayer beads, and
informational literature.

b.  Black Rose Spiritual Center Services:  In realization of the need for funding, Black Rose Spiritual
Center will offer a wide range of pastoral, clergical, new age, and spiritual services including but not
limited to:  life ceremonies such as baptisms, namings, weddings, funerals; blessings; spiritual and/or
pastoral counseling in all its various guises; spiritual path research and one-on-one spiritual direction;
readings of various self-introspection.  All donations and/or fees received from these services are donations
to the Church and not the individual income of the clergy performing same.  NOTE:  It is our belief that
within the first year this income source will overtake income source a. above as our primary source of
income.

c.  Membership Fees.  Members of the Black Rose Spiritual Center are required to pay a one-time
membership fee.  Membership fees are applied to the general account and used to further the activities of
the Church.

d.  Donations/Gifts:  Black Rose Spiritual Center accepts gifts and donations from the general public to
help pay for the costs of our ministry.

e.  Grants.  Dr. Delaney is experienced in writing grant proposals/requests and Black Rose Spiritual Center
plans to submit to the private sector for grant funding with a focus on our message of tolerance of
religious beliefs.  Although not guaranteed, it is our belief that Black Rose Spiritual Center will be able to
qualify for small grants focusing on it’s faith-based service to mankind and message of tolerance.  Dr.
Delaney has several programs regarding our tolerance message and education about different religious
belief systems in the planning stages.  However, Black Rose Spiritual Center will not be relying heavily on
receiving money from grants.

f.  Other Fundraising Activities:  The Black Rose Spiritual Center will be participating in other
fundraising activities normally associated with small non-profit organizations such as bake sales, car
washes, and the like.  In the future, once we have established ourselves it is hoped that the Lead Clergy
and Council will be able to garner donations to the Center from a wide variety of sources.  However, Black
Rose Spiritual Center will normally be relying on these types of fundraising activities for designated
purposes (such as raising money for a building).
